How to make it

  • Melt butter and then add flour, nuts, coconut, salt and cardomom.
  • Blend in the sugar.
  • Mix well.
  • Cool for a few minutes.
  • Then combine milk and almond extract stirring constantly over medium heat.
  • Stir until mixture is thick and takes on a glossy apperance about 10 minutes or so
  • This dessert can be served hot or cold.
  • When cold, it can be unmolded from the pan and cut into squares.
  • Serve with whipped cream and fresh fruit like strawberries or mangoes , is optional

    I tasted this with carrots at the Indian restaurant! It was really good! I love your idea of rolling them in nuts and shaping into balls!
