Cream Cheese Frosting

- 8 oz cream cheese; room temperature shopping list
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter; room temperature shopping list
- 1/2 cup + 2T confectioner's sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese and butter.
- Using an electric mixer set on medium-high speed, beat until smooth.
- Reduce the speed to low, add the confectioner's sugar and beat until
- smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla until well blended.
- Use immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
- Bring to room temperature before using.
- Yield: 1 1/2 cups
