Artichokes In Lemon Butter Sauce

- 2 large fresh artichokes shopping list
- 6 cups hot water or enough to cover shopping list
- 4 small lemons, sliced thin shopping list
- lemon butter Sauce, multiply as needed shopping list
- 1/3 cup melted butter shopping list
- 3 tbs lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 tsp seasoned salt shopping list
How to make it
- With sharp knife, slice about 1" off top of each
- artichoke; cut off stem near base.
- With scissors, trimabout 1/2" off top of each leaf.
- With sharp knife, halve each artichoke vertically; then scoop out and discard the fuzzy center of choke.
- Place artichoke halves in your crock pot; add hot water
- and lemon slices.
- Cover and cook on HIGH 4 to 5 hrs. OR until done.
- Drain and serve with Lemon Butter Sauce,
- For sauce: Combine all ingredients.

This sounds great! Though I love to eat artichokes, I've always been a little intimidated by the preparation. This looks like something I could handle, and get over my 'choke-prep fear. :-)
