How to make it

  • Pour boiling water over figs to cover and let stand 15 mins and drain
  • Stir together, goat cheese, milk, sour cream and herbs
  • Add drained figs, stir into mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir in half the nuts.
  • Cover and chill 24 hours for best flavor
  • Sprinkle with remaining nuts and a bit more of the thyme
  • Makes 1 1/2 cups or 12, 2 Tbs servings each

    the boiling water softens them to become more spreadable. But you could try it your way !
