Apple And Cheese Samosas Recipe
These are a great quick and easy desert or snack. You can use fresh apples just peel and slice and gently cook in a drop of water and cinnamon for 10 min

Ingredients
  • 1 packet of ready-made pastry
  • 6 tsp apple purée
  • 6 slices of cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten (for glazing)
  • whipped cream

Directions
  1. Take a packet of ready made pastry and roll out to about 5mm thick.
  2. Cut out 5cm -2 inch diamond shapes
  3. put a blob of apple purée and a slice of cheese in the centre of each.
  4. Fold to make triangular 'samosas' and moisten the edges with water to seal.
  5. Put the pastries into the fridge to rest for 20 minutes.
  6. Place on a baking tray, glaze with a little beaten egg
  7. bake in a pre-heated oven (180°C/375°F/gas 4) for 10-12 minutes or until the pastry is cooked through and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool on a rack and serve while still warm.
  9. with blobs of whipped cream
