How to make it

  • Add a little oil to a hot wok, drop in the egg and stir rapidly to break it up.
  • Add another drop of oil to the wok, followed by the garlic and the rice. Stir until well mixed.
  • Add the peas, carrots, and spring onions and mix thoroughly.
  • Add the oyster and soy sauces and season with salt and white pepper. Toss it all together and remove from the heat.
  • Spoon the egg fried rice into individual serving bowls and it is ready to serve.

    Hi, this looks pretty good.
    A neighbour who is from Singapore gave me a receipe similar to yours.
    I think yours is a heap lot easier and will taste just as good and I have a feeling yours is better.
    I will put mine up shortly and you can check it out. I think mine is complicated.
    Let you know when it's up, I would like your opinion. I'm a bloke, so I'm not that smart in the cooking area.
    As this is like accompanies a main meal - what would I use as a main meal. HELP!
