Baileys-Style Hot Fudge Recipe
Bailey's was an ice cream store in the Boston area. They made great hot fudge.

Ingredients
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/2c butter(no substitutes)
  • 2c confectioners sugar
  • 3/4c evaporated milk

Directions
  1. Slowly melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan. Remove from heat. Alternately add the sugar and evaporated milk. Stir till smooth.
  2. Return to heat. Simmer 8-10 mins. Makes 2 cups

OMG, Pat.....I remember taking the bus from Natick to Wellesley to go to Baileys when I was a kid...even had a job at the lunch counter at the Woolworths down the street....thanks for a great post but more than that, thanks for the memory...They had "THE" best hot fudge I ever had...:)
