How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 170 d C (150 d C fan-forced). Grease and line the base of a 20cm square shallow cake pan with baking paper.
  • Combine the chocolate and butter in a medium pan and stir over low heat until smooth. Remove pan from heat.
  • Stir in sugar, then eggs and mix well. Fold in combined sifted flours, then the macadamias, milk chocolate and extra dark chocolate.
  • Spread mixture into the prepared pan. Bake for about 35 minutes or until moist crumbs cling to a skewer inserted in the centre. Cool in pan.
  • To serve, cut into small pieces and dust with icing sugar (optional).
