Overnight Oatmeal
From michellem 15 years agoIngredients
- 2 cups old fashioned oats shopping list
- 1 cup steel cut oats shopping list
- 8 cups water shopping list
- 3 cups milk shopping list
- 4 Tbsp butter shopping list
- 1/2 - 1 cup brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Spray the crock of a 6 qt slow cooker, generously with Pam. Pour in the oats. Add the liquid, butter and sugar.
- Old Crock-Pot: Cover and cook on low 8-9 hours.
- New Crock-Pot: Cover and set to cook on low for 6 hours and then switch to warm.
- Stir and let stand for a few minutes before serving. If you like raisins, add them at the end. Cooking all night will make them swollen and mushy.
- You can add chopped apples or what ever your taste is!
