Grilled Scallops And Shrimp With Ginger Garlic Sauce

- 1/3 cup unsalted butter melted shopping list
- 3 large cloves garlic pressed shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper shopping list
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger shopping list
- 1/2 pound scallops shopping list
- 1/2 pound large shrimp shopping list
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley shopping list
How to make it
- In small saucepan over low heat clarify butter then add garlic and black pepper.
- Allow garlic to cook three minutes then remove from heat and add ginger.
- Allow mixture to combine at least 15 minutes.
- Using kitchen shears cut along back of the shrimp and remove veins.
- Remove legs but keep shells and tail attached.
- In medium mixing bowl combine shrimp and scallops.
- Drizzle lemon juice over seafood and season with old bay, salt and black pepper.
- Allow seafood to marinate ten minutes.
- Prepare grill and seafood trays for medium high direct grilling.
- Arrange shrimp on grill and cook 2 minutes then add scallop and cook 3 minutes longer.
- Baste often with garlic butter sauce.
- Turn seafood and continue grilling until done about 3 additional minutes.
