SUNNY BURGERS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Scully Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1997.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound extra lean ground beef
  • 1/2 pound freshly ground turkey breast
  • 1/3 cup bulgur wheat uncooked
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat hamburger buns

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients except buns and mix well then shape into four equal patties.
  2. Cook over hot coals 5 minutes per side then place on buns and garnish with favorite condiments.
