Eggplant Gravy

- eggplant-5 shopping list
- onion 1-chopped shopping list
- ginger garlic paste-1tsp shopping list
- tomato 1 shopping list
- cloves,patta-1 or 2 shopping list
- Dry chilly-2 shopping list
- Aniseed-1tsp shopping list
- Any Sambar powder-1/2tsp shopping list
- chilly powder-1tsp shopping list
- turmeric powder-1/2tsp shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Slit the egg plants&fry them in the oil by adding chillypowder,turmeric powder&salt.keep them aside
- In a pan,add some oil&add the chopped onions&saute them till they are transparent
- Make a paste of(ginger,garlic,tomato,clove,patta,dry chilly,aniseed)add them to the onions&fry well
- Once it's cooked well add the sambar powder&fry it well
- Then add the fried eggplant &salt to this mixture&cook it.
- This is the thick&spicy gravy goes well with any kind of rice....
