How to make it

  • Slit the egg plants&fry them in the oil by adding chillypowder,turmeric powder&salt.keep them aside
  • In a pan,add some oil&add the chopped onions&saute them till they are transparent
  • Make a paste of(ginger,garlic,tomato,clove,patta,dry chilly,aniseed)add them to the onions&fry well
  • Once it's cooked well add the sambar powder&fry it well
  • Then add the fried eggplant &salt to this mixture&cook it.
  • This is the thick&spicy gravy goes well with any kind of rice....
