Lobster Macaroni and Cheese for Grownups

- 1 (1 1/2 ounce) package Knorr Four cheese sauce Mix shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups dry macaroni shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk shopping list
- 3 to 4 1/2 tablespoons butter (divided use) shopping list
- 2 cups grated havarti cheese, packed shopping list
- 1 ounce processed cheese (such as Velveeta) shopping list
- 1 cup fresh bread crumbs or 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh minced parsley (optional, for color) shopping list
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups cooked lobster pieces (or a combination of lobster and shrimp) shopping list
How to make it
- Bring 11/2 quarts salted water to a boil
- Add macaroni and boil for 6 to 7 minutes until al dente. Drain, rinse and transfer to a bowl
- Toss with enough olive oil to prevent sticking. Set aside
- Combine the contents of the Four Cheese Sauce Mix with the milk. Place over medium heat, add 1/2 tablespoon butter and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium-low and add havarti and Velveeta. Stir to melt
- Melt 3-4 tablespoons of the butter in a saute pan and add bread crumbs. Stir to combine and brown the crumbs, then add parmesan cheese and parsley if using
- Add the shellfish to the cheese mixture and cook a few minutes to warm. Transfer to serving bowls and top with a sprinkling of browned bread crumbs.
