Ingredients
- 1 yellow cake mix containing pudding
- 1 large can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large box vanilla instant pudding
- 1 large cool whip
- coconut and chopped pecans
Directions
- Bake the cake as per directions on the package.
- Punch holes in the cake while warm.
- Warm pineapple and sugar.
- Pour over hot cake.
- Set aside to cool.
- Mix pudding and spread over the cool cake.
- Then spread cool whip over the pudding.
- Sprinkle with coconut and pecans.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I've never had the pineapple version but will have to try it. These cakes are very good and liked the one with the heath bars but used either devils food or regular chocolate cake.
