A great way to freeze peaches that can be eaten on their own or used in smoothies or cobblers

Ingredients
  • 1/2 bushel of Peaches
  • 2 C sugar
  • 1 1/2 C fresh lemon juice
  • 5 C unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 pkgs of orange Koolaid

Directions
  1. peel, pit, and slice peaches
  2. In a large bowl combine all other ingredient. Mix until sugar dissolves.
  3. Add peaches
  4. Scoop into quart sized freezer bags or containers
  5. Freeze
  6. Freeze well up to 3 years

If I do not have fresh lemon juice, I use just 1/2 a cup of the bottled lemon juice and 6 cups of pineapple juice.
