How to make it

  • Preheat oven 180 d C.
  • In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
  • Add oil, molasses, egg and water. Mix until well blended.
  • Spoon batter equally into ice-cream cones.
  • Place cones upright and slightly apart in a baking pan.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until skewer inserted in centre of a cupcake comes out clean.
  • Place cupcake cones on rack and allow to cool completely.
  • If made ahead, store uncovered at room temperature up to a day. Cones soften if covered.
  • Decorate as desired with whipped cream or scoop of ice cream and some sprinkles.
  • RECIPE NOTES: Use cones that are about 7.5 cm high, without cracks or holes.
