Wilted Dandelion Greens

- 2 quarts dandelion greens shopping list
- 1/4 cup bacon fat shopping list
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Wash greens thoroughly and cut off any stems.
- Cut into small pieces with scissors.
- Heat bacon fat, vinegar, sugar, and salt in a heavy saucepan.
- Wipe greens dry and add.
- Cook over moderate heat covered until wilted and tender about 12 minutes.
- Stir in parsley then serve immediately.

The best thing about this recipe, is that we can all get the dandelion greens for free in our yard come spring time! I love the seasonings here! Will definitely try!

You are a busy busy cooker!! Not to be silly BUT can you really just pick them out of your yard?? Assuming that you don't have fertilizer on the yard?? Sounds wonderful.
