banana bread pudding

- 4 cups of day old French bread cubed shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 t. vanilla shopping list
- 1;2 t. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 t. nutmeg shopping list
- salt shopping list
- 1 cup sliced firm bananas shopping list
- sauce shopping list
- 3 T butter shopping list
- 2 T. sugar shopping list
- 1T. cornstarch shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup shopping list
- 1t vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Place crumbs in 2 qt casserole, greased.
- pour butter over and toss.
- In medium bowl, lightly beat eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla cinnamon, nutmeg and salt
- Stir in bananas then pour over crumbs
- Stir to coat.
- Bake uncovered at 375 for 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in small saucepan.
- Combine sugar and cornstarch.
- add Butter.
- Stir in milk
- Add corn syrup
- Cook and stir over medium heat til mixtured comes to full boil
- Boil one minute.
- remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- serve warm sauce over warm pudding.
