German Cherry Cobbler

- 120 g butter shopping list
- 300 ml milk shopping list
- 200 g sugar shopping list
- 200 g flour shopping list
- 1 Packet baking powder ( 2 tsp ) shopping list
- 1/2 ts salt shopping list
- 1 Glass of cherries with juice ( 6 to 8 oz ) shopping list
How to make it
- Place butter in casserole and heat at 200C to melt butter
- Mix the milk, sugar, baking powder and salt and blend into a smooth dough
- Take out the hot casserole and pour dough into dish
- Add the cherries with juice but do not stir
- Bake about 50 minutes
- Serve warm
- This may be made with fresh apricots or plums or with other canned fruit
