Danish meatballs

- 250g - 9oz minced pork shopping list
- 250g - 9oz minced chicken or turkey shopping list
- 1 onion grated shopping list
- 60g - 2oz fresh breadcrumbs shopping list
- 5-6 tblsp milk shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme shopping list
- salt and fresh ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 egg beaten shopping list
- flour for dusting shopping list
- oil for shallow frying shopping list
- lemon wedges to serve shopping list
How to make it
- place pork, chicken, onion, breadcrumbs, milk and thyme in a bowl
- mix well and add salt and pepper to taste
- stir in the egg ( mix needs to be soft but not sticky)
- lightly flour hands and shape into 16 small balls
- fry over med heat for 8 - 10 min, turn often to brown
- drain on kitchen towel and serve warm with lemon wedges
