French Dip In A Crock Pot Recipe
Perfect for those who get home late and need something already made. Warm hearty fullfilling dinner. Goes good with some sourdough rolls.

Ingredients
  • 1 large diced onion
  • 1 5 lb rump roast
  • 2 cans of beef broth
  • 1 tbspn of garlic powder
  • 2 bouillon cubes or 2 packets of instant oxo
  • 1 tbspn of black pepper
  • 1/2 tspn of rosemary
  • 1 tspn of seasoning salt
  • 1 tspn of oregano

Directions
  1. Pull out your crock pot and add all the ingredients in there.
  2. Yor going to cook it on high for 5-6 hours or on low for 8-10 hours.
  3. Once the time has gone by then you want to take the meat out and place it into a deep dish so that you can collect the juices.
  4. Using a medium sauce pan strain all the juices into it so that there are no more spices or onions in it.
  5. Place saucepan over low heat to keep warm.
  6. Take the juice from the meat and add it to the saucepan, then slice the meat in thin strips.
  7. Your goning to heat your Hoggie rolls to warm
  8. Then your going to want to pile on the meat and offer the Aus Jus sauce sepratly

Sounds great!! The recipe I use calls for a bottle of beer instead of beef broth and it is really good, but a bit to strong. I think I'll try half and half next time!! Thanks
