I love this dish as a side to a saucy dish or a simple stirfry. A little something to spice up your rice and add to your main course using only your rice cooker!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 1/2 cup Vegetable Broth or Water
  • 1 Tbsp Margarine
  • 1 Tbsp Dried onions or 1/2 sm Onion, diced
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Pinch Saffron crumbled

Directions
  1. Add all ingredients to Rice cooker
  2. Set to cook and enjoy once its done!

I really loved the flavor of this rice. I used water because I cut the ingredient amounts in half and didn't want to open up a whole can of broth. I also used butter as I don't keep margarine around. This has such a pretty color and the flavor went well with the roasted asparagus I had. I added a picture, too! Thank you!
