Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place rice bubbles in a bowl
  • Place sugar, butter and dates in a saucepan. Cook on medium heat until butter is melted. Stir while simmering until the dates start to fall apart, giving mixture a caramel texture and colour. From time butter is melted till time caramelized will be 3 minutes.
  • Pour date mix onto rice bubbles and mix thoroughly till all rice bubbles are wet.
  • Put into a glass dish and sprinkle with coconut and place in fridge till set. 1-2 hours. Cut into pieces. NOTE: when putting mixture into dish press it down firmly. Enjoy.
