Chicken Canziani

- new potatoes sliced, about 2 lbs shopping list
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts shopping list
- 2 cloves peeled and trimmed garlic shopping list
- 1 t paprika shopping list
- 1 t nutmeg shopping list
- 1 t oregano shopping list
- 1 t basil shopping list
- 1 t seasoned salt shopping list
- 1 8oz can diced tomatoes or stewed tomatoes diced shopping list
- 1/2 cup dry white wine like Chardonnay shopping list
- 4 T extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- freshly grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- In a large dutch oven add olive oil first, then chicken. then layer potatoes on top, add garlic cloves in center, sprinkle with paprika, nutmeg, oregano, basil and seasoned salt, add wine and tomatoes, cover with lid, bake in oven at 350 for 1hr.
- Serve in large shallow bowls as there will be lots of steamy broth and add a generous bit of freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top. Excellent with my cheese toast and a garden salad. Enjoy!
