UNUSUAL STRAWBERRY ICE TEA FIZZ This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hager Estate in Canton, Texas in 1982.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced shopping list
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 5 cups boiling water shopping list
- 1 family size tea bag shopping list
- 12 ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate thawed shopping list
- 1 quart chilled club soda shopping list
- ice cubes shopping list
How to make it
- In bowl combine strawberries and sugar then set aside.
- In large bowl pour water over tea bag and steep 5 minutes.
- Discard tea bag and cool tea to room temperature.
- Stir in strawberries and lemonade concentrate and chill.
- To serve stir in club soda and ladle over ice cubes in tall glasses.
