Garlicky Shrimp Spaghetti

Scampi over spaghetti---YUMMM!! Make plenty of crusty bread to sop up the juice, serve with a green salad, and dinner is ready in a snap.
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter (1 stick) shopping list
- 1 medium onion, diced shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped (or 4 T. refrigerated minced garlic), or to taste shopping list
- 1 lb. shrimp, shells and tails removed (I use cooked and frozen, thawed) shopping list
- 1/2 lb. spaghetti (or pasta of your choice), cooked and drained shopping list
- parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in large skillet. Add onions and saute till translucent. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook till heated through. Place cooked and drained pasta in large bowl and pour shrimp mixture over top. Toss till coated, and sprinkle liberally with Parmesan cheese.
