Ingredients
  • 2 lbs basic Kafta mixture
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup water

Directions
  1. Spread the Kafta mixture evenly over a large baking tray 13 x 9 pan, 1 inch thick.
  2. Bake in a moderate 350 degree oven until lightly browned about 10 minutes.
  3. Mix the tomato paste with the water
  4. Pour over the meat in the tray
  5. Continue baking until half the juice is absorbed into the meat. About 20 minutes.
  6. Check it and if there is still water, put back into the over another 10 minutes until most of the juice is absorbed.
  7. Cut into squares, and serve hot.
  8. Good with Mashed Potatoes and Veggies!
