How to make it

  • In small saucepan melt butterscotch chips over low heat. Stir in cream cheese, until well blended. remove from heat
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Line 9 cups of a muffin pan with paper liners. Spray liners with cooking spray.
  • In medium bowl combing muffin mix, milk, egg and half of the butterscotch mixture.
  • mix till just moistened
  • Spoon batter into muffin cups filling each 2/3 full
  • Bake 15-18 min until a toothpick inserted in center of muffin comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan 10 minutes
  • Transfer muffins to wire rack
  • Spread remaining butterscotch mixture over tops of muffing while warm.
  • Serve warm
