Sugar Ice Cream Cones

These are so simple to make and oh so good
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, melted shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400
- In mixing bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form
- Gradually beat in sugar
- Beat in flour and butter until just blended
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper and draw 2-7 inch circles on paper
- Drop 3 tbls. of batter in center of circle and spread to edges
- Bake 6-8 minutes or until edges are golden brown
- Put cookies, bottom side up onto paper towels
- To shape cone, on one edge, roll cookie 1/3 of the way toward the center
- Roll 1/3 of the other side over the rolled side
- Place on wire rack, seam side down to cool
- Repeat twice to make 6 cones
- ~~Return cookie to oven for a minute or so if it becomes too cool to bend~~
