Ingredients
  • 1lb ground beef
  • 1/2c fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/2c chopped onions
  • 2tsp chopped garlic
  • 11/2tsp greek seaoning
  • 1/4c milk
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1/4tsp pepper
  • 1/2c chopped cucumbers
  • 1/2c chopped mint
  • 1tsp chopped garlic.
  • 1c plain yogurt
  • 1Ts. each lemon juice and zest
  • 12 slices tomatoes
  • 12 slices onion
  • 4 pita-bread pockets,halved

Directions
  1. In a bowl,combine beef,bread crumbs,onions,garlic,greek seasoning,milk,salt and pepper. Divide into 8 patties.
  2. In greased skillet,cook patties 6 mins or till meat thermometer reads 145.
  3. In bowl,mix cucumber,mint,garlic,yogurt and lemon juice and zest.. Divide patties,sliced tomatoes and onions and yogurt sauce among pita pockets.
