Chicken and Asparagus Kabobs

- Kabobs shopping list
- 1/4 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 2 tbls. brown sugar shopping list
- 2 tbls. water shopping list
- 1 tbls. sesame oil shopping list
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes, crushed shopping list
- 1 tsp. ginger, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 1/2 lbs. chicken breast, boneless and skinless cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces shopping list
- 1 lb. asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces shopping list
- 2 tbls. olive oil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- Dipping Sauce shopping list
- 2 cups mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 2 tbls. sesame seeds, toasted shopping list
- 1 tbls. sesame oil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes
- Heat grill to medium high
- Add all Kabob ingredients except chicken to mixing bowl and stir to combine
- Put in resealable plastic bag with chicken and coat with marinade
- Marinade in fridge 2 hours turning occasionally
- Drain and discard marinade
- In mixing bowl, toss asparagus with olive oil and salt
- Alternately thread 1 piece of chicken and 2 pieces of asparagus onto skewers
- Grill, covered for 4-5 minutes each side or until chicken is done
- Dipping Sauce
- In mixing bowl, add all ingredients and mix to blend well
- Chill for 2-4 hours
