Why buy artificial flavored spiced rums when you can make the real deal yourself at home. Much better flavor and aroma. It only takes 2 days. 5 days best.
Ingredients
- 1 750 ml bottle gold rum shopping list
- 1 (3-inch) piece vanilla bean shopping list
- 1 (1-inch) piece cinnamon stick shopping list
- 1 point star anise shopping list
- 2 cloves shopping list
- 1 piece allspice shopping list
- 1 (1-by-1/2-inch) piece orange peal. Zest may cloud up the rum. shopping list
How to make it
- Add all the spices to a 750 ml bottle of golden rum, close, and let work for 2 days. If you want you can leave it in and serve at will. I like to filter it out after 5 days.
