Citrus-grilled Trout

- 4 whole trout, cleaned (1/2 pound each) shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 1/2 lemons, halved, 1 half cut lengthwise into 4 wedges shopping list
- 1/2 small onion, cut lengthwise into 4 wedges shopping list
- 2 limes, halved shopping list
How to make it
- Rub the trout all over with the butter, and sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
- Insert a wedge of lemon and a wedge of onion into the cavity of each trout.
- Place each trout on a separate piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
- Squeeze half a lemon and half a lime over each trout.
- Wrap the foil tightly around the trout and place the packages on the grill rack.
- Grill them over fairly hot coals for 10 minutes, there is no need to turn the fish.
