Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix everything together. Form small balls and place them on an aluminum lined cookie sheet. Press them flat a bit. (I recommend a one bite, popper size. If you bite them it's very likely you'll have fine crumbs on your shirt.) It makes about 60 pieces.
  • Sprinkle a bit more cayenne on top, just for looks.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let them cool before you remove them from the pan, or you'll bust a few.
  • The original recipe says they can be made ahead of time and frozen, but I've never done it.
  • Note: The cheese flavor will be subtle if a "gentle cheese" is used. That's why I recommend a very sharp cheddar.
