Slow Cooked Pulled-pork Recipe
Easy and handy recipe to cook an inexpensive cut of pork. Can use it in fajitas, sandwiches, buns - really quite versatile

Ingredients
  • 2-3 pounds of pork butt or shoulder
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 c barbecue sauce
  • 1 c salsa
  • 1 tbps cayenne power
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 c water

Directions
  1. Place pork in slow cooker.
  2. Mix all ingredients and add to pork.
  3. Cover and cook 4 hours over high or 6 hours over low until pork is fork tender.
  4. Take out pork and shred with 2 forks.
  5. You can add some of the juice into the pork. I tend to skim the fat out first.
  6. Serve on fajitas, sandwiches, buns
