Bacon Cheesburger Balls Recipe

	cheesy bacon cheeseburger meatballs

Ingredients

1 egg

1 envelope of onion soup mix

1 lbs ground beef

2 tbs all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese (I tried cutting small Velveeta cubes one time and wrapping in beef, which came out pretty good so if you are in the mood to experiment ;-) )

4 strips of bacon (If you really like bacon like I do, go with six) cooked and crumbled.

2 tablespoons buttermilk

Coating:

2 Eggs

1 cup of Harvest cheddar chips or Nacho Cheesier Doritos crushed

Oil for frying

Directions

In a bowl, beat egg and onion soup mix.

Crumble in raw ground beef and mix well.

Divide into 36 even portions.

In a separate bowl, whisk flour and milk until smooth.

Add cheese and bacon and mix well.

Divide cheese and bacon mixture into 36 even portions.

Wrap ground beef mix around cheese and bacon mix and shape into smooth balls.

In a shallow bowl, beat 2 eggs.

In another bowl, spread chip crumbles (if you really like the crust, you can always double up).

Roll meatballs in the eggs and then the chips.

In a large skillet over medium heat, fry meatballs in oil for 10-12 minutes until coat is golden brown and meat is no longer pink.
