Bacon Cheesburger Balls

- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 envelope of onion soup mix shopping list
- 1 lbs ground beef shopping list
- 2 tbs all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese (I tried cutting small Velveeta cubes one time and wrapping in beef, which came out pretty good so if you are in the mood to experiment ;-) ) shopping list
- 4 strips of bacon (If you really like bacon like I do, go with six) cooked and crumbled. shopping list
- 2 tablespoons buttermilk shopping list
- Coating: shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup of Harvest cheddar chips or Nacho Cheesier Doritos crushed shopping list
- oil for frying shopping list
How to make it
- In a bowl, beat egg and onion soup mix.
- Crumble in raw ground beef and mix well.
- Divide into 36 even portions.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour and milk until smooth.
- Add cheese and bacon and mix well.
- Divide cheese and bacon mixture into 36 even portions.
- Wrap ground beef mix around cheese and bacon mix and shape into smooth balls.
- In a shallow bowl, beat 2 eggs.
- In another bowl, spread chip crumbles (if you really like the crust, you can always double up).
- Roll meatballs in the eggs and then the chips.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, fry meatballs in oil for 10-12 minutes until coat is golden brown and meat is no longer pink.
