Spicy Party Spareribs Recipe
These are great for parties or potlucks, the ribs stay nice and warm in the crock pot.

Ingredients
  • 6 pounds pork spareribs
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 7oz cans chipotle peppers in adobe sauce, minced
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 and line a broiler pan with heavy duty foil
  2. Spray broiler rack with nonstick spray and set on top of broiler pan
  3. cut ribs into serving size pieces and arrange meaty side up on prepared broiler rack
  4. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until tender
  5. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl
  6. Place cooked ribs in bowl and toss well to coat
  7. Transfer to a 6 quart crock pot and cook on high for 3-4 hours
