Layered Vegetable Salad

- 5 cups head lettuce, torn in pieces shopping list
- 1 sm. box frozen petite peas, sprinkle on frozen shopping list
- 2 cups cauliflower, bite size pieces shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pepper (red, orange, yellow or green or combo) shopping list
- 2 cups broccoli florets, bite size pieces shopping list
- 1 cup celery. chopped shopping list
- 7 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups mayonnaise shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar or white vinegar shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. water shopping list
- 1/2 cup chow mein noodles shopping list
How to make it
- Layer ingredients in the following order in a deep salad bowl (really pretty) or a 9" x 13" glass casserole dish (easier to serve):
- Lettuce, cauliflower, peppers, broccoli, celery, bacon.
- Combine mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, water and whisk to combine. Cover salad with this dressing. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 12 hours.
- Uncover and sprinkle with Chow Mein noodles and serve.
