How to make it

  • Layer ingredients in the following order in a deep salad bowl (really pretty) or a 9" x 13" glass casserole dish (easier to serve):
  • Lettuce, cauliflower, peppers, broccoli, celery, bacon.
  • Combine mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, water and whisk to combine. Cover salad with this dressing. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 12 hours.
  • Uncover and sprinkle with Chow Mein noodles and serve.
