Ingredients
  • 2 cups Kimchi (I specifically like mak kimchi, but I also understand that this isn't available for everyone)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 lb of lean pork
  • 2/3 cup of soft tofu cubed
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1.2 cup peeled shrimp (optional)
  • 1 tbs of go chu jang (fermented red pepper sauce, optional)
  • 1 tsp of go chu gar roh (red pepper powder)
  • 1 tbs bacon fat (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Directions
  1. Chop kimchi and lean pork into bite sized pieces
  2. Heat up sesame oil over medium high heat.
  3. Stir-fry kimchi for 2 minutes.
  4. Add cubed tofu, lean pork and garlic.
  5. When pork browns add go chu jang, go cho ga roh and bacon fat.
  6. Fill pot with water until it barely covers all ingredients.
  7. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  8. Serve with rice.
