Killer Hazelnut Brownie Bars

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter,softened,plus extra for greasing the pan shopping list
- 1c turbinado sugar shopping list
- 1/2 vanilla bean,split and seeds scraped shopping list
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/4 c flour shopping list
- 1/4 c cake flour shopping list
- 1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/3 c chopped hazelnuts shopping list
- grenadine Frosting: shopping list
- 1 stick butter,softened shopping list
- 2 c powdered sugar shopping list
- 2 Tbs grenadine shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Line 8x8" baking pan with parchment Lightly grease and flour.
- In standing mixer with paddle attachment,cream together butter,sugar,vanilla seeds and vanilla extract. Add eggs and mix till well incorporated.
- Mix together dry ingredients and add slowly to egg mixture. Mix till well incorporated.
- Popur the batter into prepared pan. Spread evenly,add hazelnuts to the top.
- Bake 22 to 25 mins until brownies are set and begin to pull away from the side.
- Remove from oven and let cool on wire rack. Once cooled,remove brownies from pan and cut into 11/2" squares for individual bites.
- Frosting: In large bowl use mixer to cream butter and slowly add powdered sugar. Add grenadine and mix until frosting consistency
- is reached.
- Prepare frosting in piping bag and pipe onto individual brownie bites.
