Swedish Butter Cookies Recipe

How to make it

  • In large bowl,cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add syrup. Combine flour and baking soda;gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  • Divide dough into eight portions. Roll each portion into 9" log.
  • Place 3" apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 300 for 25 mins or till lightly browned.
  • Cut into 1" slices. Remove to wire racks to cool. Dust with Confectioners' sugar.

    Thanks for posting this recipe, I like a simple but Great Recipe for when I get that Sweet tooth, the only other quick one I have is Vinager Cookies, lol, they don't taste like Vinager, they taste like a Very Thin Butter Cookie. Now I can add this recipe when I make a platter of cookies.
