Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Generously grease 4 individual ramekins, 10 ounce custard cups or French onion bowls.
  • In small skillet, saute mushrooms in butter, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Drain.
  • Sprinkle 3 tablespoons cheese into bottom of each prepared baking dish.
  • Add 1/4 cup whipping cream to each.
  • Carefully break one egg into each over cream.
  • Divide mushroom mixture over each.
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • In 13x9 inch baking dish, pour in 3/4 inch hot water.
  • Carefully set dishes in water.
  • Cover with foil.
  • Bake 15 minutes.
  • Uncover and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture is set and eggs are cooked.
