How to make it

  • In large skillet,cook bacon over med. heat till crisp. Use slotted spoon to remove to paper towel;drain,reserving 1 Tbs drippings.
  • Remove stems from mushrooms;set caps aside. Finely chop half of stems(save remaining for another use).
  • Add chopped stems to drippings with bacon;saute 2 to 3 mins..Remove from heat Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Firmly stuff crouton mixture into mushroom caps. Place in greased 15x10x1" bking pan. Bake 425 for 12 to 15 mins or till mushrooms are tender

    I love stuffed mushrooms! These sound so good! I never had them with bacon, ham and crushed croutons! Great idea!
