Montreal Steak Seasoning Grilled Chicken And Salad Recipe
This is a favorite summertime dish. It's quick and filling. Basically, it's just another variation on chicken and salad. But it is good. I mean, Good.

Ingredients
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts halves
  • olive oil for brushing
  • Montreal Steak seasoning
  • 1 package Spring salad mixture
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • 2 tb champagne vinegar
  • 1 tsp coarse ground pepper
  • 1 tsp dill weed
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 4 Tb shelled walnuts

Directions
  1. Start grill.
  2. Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil and coat thickly with Montreal Steak Seasoning.
  3. Mix 1/4 cp olive oil, 2 Tb Champagne vinegar, 1 tsp coarse ground pepper, 1 tst dill weed, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, and 1 tsp dried oregano in a small cup. let stand.
  4. Grill chicken breasts until white.
  5. Layer large salad bowls with Spring salad mix.
  6. Remove chicken from grill. Place on cutting board and chop into 1/2 inch chunks. Spread over lettuce.
  7. Sprinkle chicken and lettuce salad with walnuts, then oil and vinegar mixture.
  8. Serve warm.

Oh this sounds fantastic...when I make it, can I submit a pic??? ;) What about if I sub pecans for the walnuts? We have GREAT pecans, here! Great to see you posting, again, darlin'! *hugs*


Photos? By all means.

Pecans... Well, they will probably work OK, but I don't find the two nuts interchangeable in all recipes. Just got to try I guess. Let me know how it comes out.
