Ingredients

1 cup sugar

2 tablespoons corn starch

2 cups water

1/4 cup butter

2 teaspoons lemon juice

Directions

Boil sugar, corn starch and water 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add butter and lemon juice; whisk until incorporated.

Serve warm.

It's also fabulous on stir fried chicken breast with some fried rice on the side. I add 1/3 cup of lemon juice instead of just one lemon which gives it that extra kick for use in a main dish.
