How to make it

  • Wash and soak frog legs in salt water for 2 hours.
  • Pat dry.
  • Dip in beaten egg and roll in cracker meal.
  • In frying pan, heat vegetable oil almost to the boiling point.
  • Add frog leg; turn until golden brown on both sides.
  • Drain on brown paper.
  • Serve hot.

    Gotta love them frog legs! My son-in-law goes frogging and sends some over. We've also marinated them overnight and grilled them. Awesome!

    When I was in college, I worked for a while at a fish restaurant where they served frog legs. I tried them once out of curiosity. It seems to me they had a very mild flavor. I guess I expected them to taste very gamey.
    I agree; if you get a chance try them.
