How to make it

  • Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, oregano, pepper, and salt; set aside.
  • In a skillet melt 2 tablespoons butter.
  • Sauté garlic until tender.
  • Add remaining melted butter.
  • Dip chicken in garlic butter.
  • Roll each piece in bread crumb and Parmesan mixture.
  • Place Parmesan chicken in a 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
  • Sprinkle with remaining bread crumb mixture and pour remaining garlic butter over all.
  • Bake Parmesan chicken at 350° for 55 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Enjoy with your favorite marinara sauce.

    I had to scale down the amount of oregano. Instead of 1/4 cup I added 1 tsp. I also scaled down the butter from 3/4 cup to 3 tblsp. I did add 1 more clove of garlic, minced. It could have used a little more. I used chicken 4 breasts, I cut each breast in half, cut through the thickest portion so the breast would be even. Coated in garluc butter then in bread crumbs and shook off excess. I used the amount given for the breading, cheese, and other spices. Turned out good.
