Your Fault Dessert Recipe
YOUR FAULT DESSERT This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Rodgers in Longview, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 14 ounce can sliced peaches
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 10 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 24 ounces evaporated milk
  • 6 eggs

Directions
  1. In cake pan with 4 inch sides add 1/2 cup sugar and over high heat caramelize sugar until dark.
  2. Tilt pan to cover bottom and 1” up side of pan then allow to cool to room temperature.
  3. In blender divide ingredients except vanilla and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour in mixture then add vanilla and stir.
  5. Cover tightly with aluminum foil then place in a covered water bath over low heat for 1 hour.
  6. Adjust heat so that the water just boils slowly.
  7. Check water and add hot water as necessary.
  8. It is done when a dry knife inserted comes out clean then garnish with fresh peach slices.
