Peppery Jack Chili Stuffed Burgers

This was a big hit at the neighborhood cookoff burger contest we had this weekend to raise money for a neighbor whose house burnt down. Greatness in a bun. Enjoy
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground chuck shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese shopping list
- 1 large jalapeno pepper diced shopping list
How to make it
- Form meat into 8 patties then season with salt and pepper.
- Divide cheese and jalapeno between 4 patties then place remaining patties on top.
- Press to seal then grill over hot coals turning once halfway through cooking.
