How to make it

  • push the boudin from casing
  • take boudin and make a patty
  • roll in flour then fry until a light brown.
  • now...
  • using rice dressing
  • stir in egg
  • make your patties
  • roll in flour
  • then fry until light brown
  • place the patty on to a paper towel
  • then prepare your hamburger bun
  • with mayo, lettuce , cheese..ketchup, anything else you would like.
  • my son just likes it with cheese and mayo...
  • serve with chips or american fries..

    It took me a minute to figure out that this was actually two separate recipes. One for boudin burgers and one for rice dressing burgers. However, once I got through that, I'll have to admit I don't know why I never thought of making boudin into a burger before. I'll have to think about a rice dressing burger for awhile though.

    A larger version of boudin balls. sounds good to me....never would have thought to eat it on a bun! Great idea! I have a favorite place here to buy boudin and will surely try this. Thanks...
